9 Days Mount Kenya, Ol Pejeta, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara Safari

Venture Africa Budget Safaris representative will meet you at the airport or your hotel and after your breakfast. You will be introduced to your guide and given a full briefing regarding your safari programme. Once these final details are settled you begin your journey to Mount Kenya, arriving in the early afternoon. Relax as you enjoy viewing game from the comfort of your lodge, with a glorious panorama of mountain vistas and the elemental splendour of ancient rainforest. Afternoon at leisure and overnight floodlit game viewing. An optional nature walk can be arranged at extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast proceed to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary. Afternoon game drive with a visit to Ol Pejeta, in the secluded heart of the Ol Pejeta ranch and rhino sanctuary. Lunch is served at the camp. Sweetwaters is built on a private ranch and supports a large number of game including elephant and giraffe, and it is one of the few places where you have access to night game drives. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

After breakfast depart for Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park, known for its white and black rhino. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

After breakfast, drive further south west along the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon visit Hell’s Gate, with an optional boat ride at Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake with a picturesque view of Mount Longonot, hippos and over 400 species of birds including pelicans. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast at Lake Naivasha depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in search of plains game, elephant, black maned lion, buffalo and cheetah among others. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast proceed for a full day of game viewing in this reserve, which is essentially the northern extension of the Serengeti in Tanzania. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

A second full day of game viewing in the reserve, giving you time to explore different sections of the Mara and return to the best sightings from the previous day. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up and proceed to the Masai village for a cultural visit. Later you drive back to Nairobi with lunch on the way, arriving in the evening. An optional dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant can be arranged at an extra cost. Overnight at your Nairobi hotel.

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport to connect your flight back home.
