This is the shortest practical way to see the two headline destinations of Tanzania’s northern circuit, and joining a group departure makes it the most affordable. You are in the Serengeti on the first afternoon, with open plains that hold buffalo, giraffe, eland, impala, lion, cheetah, leopard and jackal, and which fill with wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle when the migration passes through.
The safari closes with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed volcanic caldera regarded as one of the seven natural wonders of Africa and holding one of the densest concentrations of wildlife anywhere on the continent. Park entrance fees, accommodation, all meals while on safari, transport in a 4×4 Land Cruiser with a hatch roof and a professional English speaking guide are all included.
