Our most complete Tanzania group joining safari, eight days covering four parks with the travel days from Nairobi built in at both ends so nothing is rushed. From Arusha the route takes in Lake Manyara for its tree climbing lions and flamingos, then climbs into the Ngorongoro highlands and descends two thousand feet into the crater.
A full day follows on the Serengeti plains, home to the big cats, spotted hyena and elusive smaller predators including the aardwolf and serval, before the safari finishes at Tarangire among the baobabs and elephant herds. Sharing a vehicle and guide keeps this accessible while park entrance fees, accommodation, three meals a day on safari, Arusha hotels and return transport from Nairobi all remain included.
