7 Days Combined Kenya and Tanzania Private Safari – Masai Mara – Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Venture Africa Budget Safaris representative will meet you at the airport or your hotel and after your breakfast. You will be introduced to your guide and given a full briefing regarding your safari programme. Once these final details are settled you will start your safari and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint at the Great Rift Valley. You will enjoy lunch in Narok. On arrival in the park, you will proceed on a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. You will arrive for dinner and your overnight stay at the Lodge or at the Campsite.

Your guide will pick you up after breakfast to proceed on a full day game drive within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills, where the wild meets wonder. The reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range encounters, and it is known as the 8th Wonder of the World and the best park to view the big cats. You will break for your picnic lunch at Hippo Pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. In the evening after the game drive your guide will drop you at the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Optional early morning balloon ride can be organised at an extra cost.

After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and proceed to the Maasai Village for cultural activities. Afterwards your guide will take you on to Serengeti via the Isebania border with your lunch on the way. The Kenya guide will transfer you at Isebania where you will meet the Tanzania guide. After immigration at the border you proceed to Serengeti National Park with a game drive enroute, arriving in the evening at your camp or Lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will be picked up after breakfast and proceed with a game drive in the Serengeti with your picnic lunches. Enjoy the game drive in this famous national park, where alongside the big cats you will see spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat. A full day of game viewing, with dinner and overnight at the Lodge or campsite.

After breakfast your driver will pick you up and proceed for a final game drive in the Serengeti with your lunch enroute, then continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in the evening. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the seven wonders of Africa. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and descend 2000ft into the Ngorongoro Crater, exploring and viewing animals from a depression angle until you arrive at the crater floor. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater, ascend, and drive to Arusha where you will be dropped at your Arusha hotel booked on bed and breakfast.

After breakfast pick up from the hotel and transfer to the AM shuttle bus to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped at your hotel or the airport. If you wish to proceed to Zanzibar we can also drop you at Arusha Airport.
