Our most complete Kenya private safari, twelve days taking in seven destinations including two that rarely appear on shorter itineraries. Treetops, on the slopes of the Aberdares, is the historic tree lodge where guests watch elephant, buffalo and rhino come to a floodlit waterhole and salt lick through the night, and it is famous as the place where Princess Elizabeth learned she had become Queen.
Sweetwaters on Ol Pejeta is the other: the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, home to two groups of rescued chimpanzees, and a dedicated black rhino breeding area. Around these the route covers Samburu, Lake Nakuru, two nights in the Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha with Hell’s Gate, and Amboseli beneath Kilimanjaro. Park entrance fees, lodge accommodation, all meals on safari, mineral water and transfers are included throughout.
