10 Days Classic Kenya and Tanzania Group Joining Safari – Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru – Amboseli – Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Venture Africa Budget Safaris representative will meet you at the airport or your hotel and after your breakfast. You will be introduced to your guide and given a full briefing regarding your safari programme. Once these final details are settled you will start your safari and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint at the Great Rift Valley. You will enjoy lunch in Narok. On arrival in the park, you will proceed on a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. You will arrive for dinner and your overnight stay at the Lodge or at the camp.

Your guide will pick you up after breakfast to proceed on a full day game drive within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills, where the wild meets wonder. The reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range encounters, and it is known as the 8th Wonder of the World and the best park to view the big cats. You will break for your picnic lunch at Hippo Pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. In the evening after the game drive your guide will drop you at the Lodge or at the camp for dinner and overnight.

Optional early morning balloon ride can be organised at an extra cost.

After breakfast in the camp, you will have an opportunity for a cultural tour known as the Maasai village tour, at an extra cost. We then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel or Lodge.

After an early breakfast, proceed into Lake Nakuru National Park, well known for the many different bird species recorded here and as a home to both the black and the white rhinoceros. The park was established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and is also home to colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes and a variety of plains antelope. Later, with your lunch on the way, depart for Amboseli, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp or Lodge.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up with your picnic lunch for a full day game drive in this park, which contains swamp grounds where elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen, and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. We cater for picnic lunches and you return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up from the camp and you will proceed to Namanga with lunch enroute. You will go through the immigration process and later proceed to Arusha, arriving during the day and checking in to your hotel booked on bed and breakfast only. Dinner will be on your own.

After breakfast your driver will pick you up from your hotel and you will meet the rest of the group you will be travelling with, then proceed to Serengeti National Park with your lunch enroute. Later you will enjoy an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is one of the most popular national parks in Tanzania, and not only during the annual migration when wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle join the trek to look for fresh grazing. Serengeti wildlife includes buffalo, giraffe, eland, impala, Grant’s gazelle, lion, cheetah, leopard and the African jackal among others. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

After breakfast your driver will pick you up and proceed for a final game drive in the Serengeti with your lunch enroute, then continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in the evening. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the seven wonders of Africa. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and descend 2000ft into the Ngorongoro Crater, exploring and viewing animals from a depression angle until you arrive at the crater floor. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater, ascend, and drive to Arusha where you will be dropped at your Arusha hotel booked on bed and breakfast.

After breakfast pick up from the hotel and transfer to the AM shuttle bus to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped at your hotel or the airport. If you wish to proceed to Zanzibar we can also drop you at Arusha Airport.
