A full day covering the highlights of Nairobi, a city that has grown from a railway depot in 1899 into the largest metropolis in East Africa. The tour takes in the city centre landmarks, including the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Parliament Buildings, the City Market and the Uhuru Gardens memorial where independence was declared in 1963.
The afternoon moves out to the suburbs for the National Museum and Snake Park on Museum Hill, and can be shaped around whichever of the Langata and Karen attractions interest you most, whether that is the Giraffe Centre, the Karen Blixen Museum, Bomas of Kenya or the Railway Museum. It is the most flexible day trip we run and the easiest way to orient yourself before heading out on safari. Entrance fees, transfers, mineral water and a guide are included.
